Whenever we ask a designer we want our website to be the “Best”, do we know exactly what we mean by Best? Design is not something to create pictures, fill colors, etc. Now-a-days, designing is not so limited with colors and images.
Design itself is a domain where you can innovative from same resource set. For design we generally use two terms UI (User Interface) and UX (User Experience) interchangeably. Are these abbreviations are used correctly? In this post I have tried to cover difference in these abbreviations.
As name implies User Interface focused on physical or technical aspects through which end user connects i.e, means of communication between end user and website. On the other hand, User experience is the interaction itself i.e., overall experience of the end user perceived on website.
UX is the intangible design of a strategy that brings us to a solution.
UX concerned with the overall feel of the product, however UI particular about how the product is laid out. UI where designing of each screen or page takes place, with which a user interacts and ensuring that the UI visually communicates the path that a UX has laid out.
